How this tool works
Reads the command like a shell
Quotes, line continuations, -X, -H, -d, --data-raw and -u are parsed the way a terminal would.
Builds an HTTP Request node
Method, URL, headers and a JSON, form or raw body are mapped to n8n's HTTP Request node (version 4.2).
Flags secrets
If the command contains an API key, token or basic auth, you are told to move it into an n8n Credential.
Frequently asked questions
How do I paste the node into n8n?
Copy the JSON, click on an empty part of the n8n canvas and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac). The node appears ready to connect.
Why move the API key into a credential?
Credentials are encrypted and not exported with the workflow. A key left in a header ends up in every export and screenshot.
Does it support file uploads?
Multipart (-F) uploads are not converted; use the HTTP Request node's "Form-Data" body and a binary field for those.
