Blob storage
Cloud object storage (AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage) used to store files generated or consumed by automations PDFs, CSVs, images. When a workflow generates a report, it stores it in blob storage and emails a download link rather than attaching the file directly.
Expert insight
Blob storage (S3, Azure Blob) is the right place for large files a workflow generates or processes (PDFs, images, exports), but it needs an explicit lifecycle policy, files accumulating indefinitely with no cleanup or archiving policy quietly grow both storage cost and the surface area of what needs securing.
In a real workflow
Generated PDFs are stored in blob storage and the workflow saves only the file link in the CRM.
