FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)
A unit of measurement for workload. 1.0 FTE = one full-time employee's working capacity (~160h/month). Automation ROI is often expressed as FTEs freed e.g., "2.1 FTEs freed" means automation handles the equivalent of two full-time roles' manual work.

Expert insight
Freeing 2 FTEs doesn't mean firing 2 people it means those people do higher-value work instead.
How PURIST uses this
This concept is built into every automation we deploy.
When PURIST builds your automation, FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) is not an optional consideration it is part of the production standard. Our workflows are tested against edge cases, monitored 24/7, and built to handle what happens when things don't go as expected.
Every client workflow we deploy in the Operations category is designed with this principle in mind from day one not added as an afterthought.
